The Food2030 Networks Conference is currently in progress in Brussels. The concept of the conference is about Transformative Food System Innovation. At the conference, projects, living labs, and other institutions in Europe are presenting challenges and drivers for food systems transformation.
In the workshop dedicated to food waste projects, the living labs (LL) current situation was put into discussion. And, in this context, the centers of excellence are considered strategic solutions for systems transformation. Most of the participants in the workshop agreed that an LL-based center of excellence is a good approach to putting to work systemic strategies for systems transformation. The Cesar2030 Center of Excellence will embody this strategy and implement it in a systems-thinking way.
